AMS Montessori Seal of Excellence
The AMS Montessori Seal of Excellence is awarded by the American Montessori Society (AMS) to products that meet rigorous standards of design, quality, and alignment with Montessori educational principles. This Seal reflects AMS’s commitment to supporting Montessori-style learning through play and discovery, fostering child development in accordance with these principles.

To be eligible for the Seal, products must:
- Exemplify High Standards of Design and Quality: Demonstrate thoughtful design, functionality, and craftsmanship that align with Montessori principles and support their practical application.
- Align with Montessori Principles: Support independence, exploration, and purposeful engagement in accordance with authentic Montessori principles that guide learning, teaching, or school operations.
- Enhance Montessori Education and Practice: Actively contribute to or facilitate Montessori-inspired learning, teaching, or school management in a way that supports the needs of children or educators.

Important Disclaimer:
Montessori is a comprehensive educational system reliant on five core components, including highly trained and credentialed teachers. While the Seal verifies that a product aligns with Montessori principles, AMS distinguishes between such products and the complete, authentic practice of Montessori education in a classroom setting.
