Support the AMS Annual Fund

Dear AMS Member,

Last year might not have been what we expected. The ongoing pandemic, political turmoil, and systemic injustice impacted everyone on a personal, organizational, and professional level. Through it all, your American Montessori Society has remained focused on supporting you, our members, and the wider community. We have been grounded and we have been growing.

We are grounded in our mission to empower humanity to build a better world through Montessori. And we are growing in our vision to provide Montessori for all, embraced around the globe. None of this is possible without your support.

In the past year, your donations have grounded and supported us through the creation of a rebuilding plan that would sustain and grow AMS. At the same time, we grew through new programs like high quality online events, Connect Live! networking sessions, and anti-bias, antiracist initiatives. We even made The Montessori Event a fully virtual experience.

With strong roots and a committed team of staff, volunteers, and members, we are looking ahead to this new year. You can expect to see even more new developments like AMS Cares, a health and wellness initiative for educators; AMS Learning, our entire professional development library, available free of charge to members; and AMS Family Connection and the AMS School Leader, new online publications for Montessori families and administrators, respectively.

Our work is funded, in part, by membership dues. But this is not enough. To provide the expert services and initiatives you have come to expect from your American Montessori Society, we need additional support. Every gift made to AMS makes a difference in advancing Montessori education worldwide.

As your development co-chairs, we proudly support AMS through financial gifts. And with the support of our other colleagues on the board of directors, we are pleased to share that all donations made through December 31, 2021, will be matched up to $30,000.

If we are to walk, we must have ground to walk on; after we have learnt to walk, we may learn to jump, dance, etc., but we will still need the ground.

Thank you for investing in our ground. Thank you for helping us grow.
