A new website and a new look.

AMS is celebrating 65 years with a new look and a new website!
The American Montessori Society is proud to unveil a new website and new look as we celebrate our 65th anniversary—a milestone that honors our legacy while embracing our future.
We are thrilled to introduce the new AMS logo, an emblem of growth, transformation, and lifelong learning. This refreshed design reflects the depth and breadth of the Montessori journey, spanning from early childhood through adulthood and into a lifelong pursuit of knowledge.
At the heart of the new logo are three interwoven arcs, representing the essential elements of Montessori education: the learner, the guide, and the environment.
These arcs also reflect the continuous cycle of discovery that defines a Montessori experience—where learning is not limited to a single phase of life but is an evolving process of exploration, curiosity, and personal growth.
- The blue arc represents wisdom, depth of understanding, and the knowledge that Montessori cultivates at every stage of life.
- The green arc embodies growth, sustainability, and the nurturing of individual potential, reinforcing the idea that learning is an ever-expanding journey.
- The orange arc signifies innovation, passion, and the vibrancy of a lifelong love for learning.
The movement and spacing between these elements create a sense of fluidity, mirroring how Montessori education adapts and evolves with each learner. The circular design reinforces the idea that learning is not linear but a continuous, interconnected experience—whether one is a young child discovering the world, an adolescent forging a path, an educator guiding the next generation, or an adult embracing new knowledge.
