I strongly believe that Montessori leadership, at its core, is supporting each adult in realizing their own potential….much like the children.

I whole-heartedly live the Montessori Method, it is not my job but my life.

I hope I might have something to share that will help other school leaders grow their programs.

I am interested in leading other Heads of School because I have found that some of our most meaningful growth comes through thoughtful conversations with colleagues who understand the unique joys and challenges of Montessori leadership.

I would love to share what I have learned, learn alongside others, and help create a stronger community of Montessori leaders.

Leading a Montessori school requires the leader to protect the time guides have with children.

The HOS Collective gives Montessori leaders a chance to communicate and share their successes and gain ideas for areas of growth their schools are experiencing.

What we do is difficult and challenging and it is so important to have a support system that is ultimately rooted in the Montessori philosophy.

I am interested in leading other heads of school because I believe leadership has the greatest impact when it empowers others.

I am passionate about equipping current and aspiring Montessori leaders with the confidence, skills, and vision to lead thriving schools while remaining grounded in Montessori principles.

When we build a true ‘village’ to share our challenges and joys, we validate one another and find the inspiration to keep moving forward.

II believe that when we remain grounded in Montessori while continuing to learn and grow, we are able to better serve children.

As an AMS ambassador last year, I learned that covering particular topics and troubleshooting issues together provides valuable ideas for all of us and leads us to feeling less isolated as heads of school.

I am passionate about high fidelity Montessori practice (guided by AMS accreditation standards).

I want to help build a community where leaders feel supported, not isolated, in the work of stewarding Montessori education.

The core of my work is supporting the development of Montessori leaders and educators, and I am excited about the possibility of doing that as an ambassador.

I did enjoy working with the heads of schools, even with barely any attendance, as it felt like I was building a community with others and it felt really inspiring.

I believe that in the future there will be more demand for Montessori education and that it is our responsibility as leaders to ensure that the education is authentic and of high quality.

I believe that one never stops learning and knowledge grows deeper when shared or when I have opportunities to be part of more groups of individuals who are eager to learn.

I love mentoring other leaders.

I’m drawn to leading other heads of school because I know how solitary this role can feel, and I’d love to help create a space where we can be honest with each other, learn from one another, and grow stronger as leaders together.

I value the support of our community and the experiences that we can share to serve the families that come to our schools.

My goal is not to tell other leaders how to lead, but to help them feel supported, gain perspective, and discover their own path forward.

I truly believe in community and the importance of shared experiences and wisdom.

Being a head of school was once a very lonely role, but leadership communities like this have transformed that experience by providing connection, mentorship, and shared wisdom.

I find Montessori education to be such a beautiful journey of lifelong learning, and think connecting with other Montessori educators is one of the biggest gifts of this journey.

I hope to help build a community where Heads of School can share ideas, grow together, and strengthen Montessori education across our schools.
