Local Professional Development Events

All of the events below meet the guidelines for AMS hours of professional development. They are hosted by colleagues in the wider community, so if you have questions please direct them to the event hosts—not to AMS. A reminder that events hosted by AMS can also earn you hours of professional development.

To have your event listed here, check the guidelines for event types and formats. If you believe your event qualifies, send an e-mail to Leah Zak that includes each of the following details in a bullet-pointed list:

  • Event website (required): Listings must have event information hosted on a website. We will not link to PDFs of flyers, postcards, etc.
  • Date of event
  • Event name and type (conference, workshop, etc.)
  • Topic
  • City and state (or country, if not in the U.S.)
  • Sponsoring organization

All submissions must be for events no less than 30 days in the future. Reciprocal links are appreciated.
