From the Organization

Xavier University Montessori Teacher Education Program and Montessori Institute has been a thought leader in Montessori education since 1965, preparing Montessori educators who are in high demand regionally, nationally and internationally. Graduates enter the teaching field ready to teach in public and private schools, with training in both Montessori and traditional education methods. Xavier Teacher Education Program offers an on-campus and online Master of Education, a Bachelor of Science degree in Montessori Education, state teacher licensure, and American Montessori Society credentials for ages 3–6, 6–9, and 6–12. Students benefit from a strong network of Montessori public and private schools that provide opportunities for observation, hands-on practice, and mentorship. The program also offers customized professional development for individual schools and districts, along with workshops open to all educators.
