From the Organization
Peaceful Pathways Montessori Academy (P.P.M.A.), founded in 2004 by Shawna and Brian Watkins, is an accredited Christian Montessori school located on six and a half wooded acres between Yorkville and Oswego, Illinois. What began as a single preschool and kindergarten classroom has grown into a full preschool–elementary program, serving children from 15 months through sixth grade.
Rooted in the Montessori philosophy and Christian values, our mission is to nurture and support each child as they grow in confidence, independence, and purpose. Our peaceful, nature-rich environment invites children to explore, learn, and develop a strong foundation for life—not just school.
As an American Montessori Society Accredited School, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of Montessori education while honoring the unique spirit of every child.
