Thursday Afternoon Workshops

Thursday, March 22 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Presenters: Kimberly Stegmaier, Donna Hutchinson-Smyth

Children become what they learn through games and play. In this joyful and interactive workshop you will discover the ins and outs of teaching children how to play with—rather than against—each other, using Xavier's Lab School-tested games and activities that build a child’s self-worth through cooperation, acceptance, inclusion, and fun. You’ll come away filled with ideas for cooperative games that promote individual and team success, strengthen movement and coordination, promote activity and self-care, and foster children’s body awareness and control.
