About AMS-Affiliated Programs

AMS-affiliated teacher education programs provide comprehensive courses of study that prepare adult learners to be highly qualified Montessori educators. While each TEP is unique, with its own academic schedule and tuition, all are rigorously designed based on AMS standards, with the goal of ensuring that you will receive an education for entry into practice at your chosen level.

About the TEP

Dr. Maria Montessori, an Italian physician in the early 1900's, discovered the remarkable and effortless ability of children to absorb knowledge from their surroundings. Inspired by this simple and profound truth, she developed educational materials, curricula, methodology, and teacher training techniques to further the children's self-creating processes. MMTEC teaches the essence of Dr. Montessori's principles and unique and inspiring techniques, while preparing its students for the challenges of today's children and families.
