Montessori Education Foundation Association (MEFA)

Montessori Education Foundation Association (hereinafter referred to as “MEFA”) is a Montessori teacher training program that provides courses for adult learners on infants & toddlers and early childhood levels. MEFA also designs and develops Montessori learning materials for parents to interact/use with their kids at home.

MEFA was founded in 2014, and cooperated with the Montessori Teacher Education Center – San Francisco Bay Area (MTEC-SFBA) as one of their AMS affiliated teaching sites. We trained five cohorts of adult learners on AMS Infant and Toddler (0-3 years old), as well as two cohorts on AMS Early Childhood (3-6 years old). The course director of MTEC-SFBA is Dr. Pamela Rigg, a well-known Montessori teacher training center in the United States. The physical location for their training center is located on Foothill Avenue in San Leandro, California. It provides year-round preschool courses; Sunnyvale campus provides all Intensive courses throughout the year and summer; San Mateo campus offers courses for preschool children throughout the year.

The course cooperation between MEFA and MTEC-SFBA started in 2014 and ended in March 2021. MEFA continues to offer adult infant courses (0-3 years old) and preschool children (3-6 years old) in Taipei, Taiwan. The office is located in Taiwan – 4th Floor, No. 148, Tong'an Street, Da'an District, Taipei City.

MEFA蒙特梭利教育發展學會（簡稱MEFA）為臺灣專業的蒙特梭利培訓機構，專注於提供0–3歲嬰幼兒與3–6歲幼兒階段的蒙特梭利資格認證課程，同時也致力於設計與研發蒙特梭利教學教具與學習媒材。

MEFA創立於2014年，初期與位於美國舊金山灣區的蒙特梭利師資教育中心 MTEC-SFBA（Montessori Teacher Education Center – San Francisco Bay Area）合作，先後開設了五屆AMS嬰幼兒（Infant and Toddler, 0–3歲）培訓課程，以及兩屆AMS幼兒（Early Childhood, 3–6歲）培訓課程。

MTEC-SFBA課程總監為美國蒙特梭利界知名的 Dr. Pamela Rigg。該中心總部位於美國加州 San Leandro 市 Foothill Boulevard，提供全年制學齡前兒童課程；Sunnyvale 校區則開設全年制及暑期密集課程；San Mateo 校區則專注於全年制幼兒課程。

MEFA 與 MTEC-SFBA 的合作課程於 2021 年 3 月正式結束。自此之後，MEFA 繼續於臺灣開辦成人的嬰幼兒（0–3歲）與幼兒（3–6歲）領域之蒙特梭利培訓課程，辦公室設於臺北市大安區通安街148號4樓。
