Learn how to go deep for social justice by examining the roots of inequity and bias that exist in our communities—and in ourselves. In this workshop, you’ll explore the basis of your own racial identity and purpose to uproot prejudice and practice tangible action steps for cultivating equity in your classroom.

About the Presenters

Christine Daisy Han

Christine Daisy Han, MEd, MA, is a partner at the Wildflower Foundation, in Cambridge, MA, and the director of curriculum for the Disruptive Equity Education Project. She serves on the founding board of Montessori for Social Justice and is a recipient of an AMS Ursula Thrush Peace Seed Grant (2015). AMS-credentialed (Elementary I–II, Secondary I–II).

Darnisa L. Amante

Darnisa L. Amante, EdLD, is an adjunct lecturer at Harvard Graduate School of Education and chief executive officer of Disruptive Equity Education Project, both in Cambridge, MA.
