About the TEP
Xavier University Montessori Institute (XUMI) has been a thought leader in Montessori education since 1965. Xavier Montessori trained teachers are in high demand regionally, nationally and internationally. Graduates enter the teaching field with the ability to teach in public and private schools with Montessori or traditional education philosophies.
XUMI offers an on-campus and an online Master of Education, a Bachelor of Science degree in Montessori Education, teacher licensing, American Montessori Credentials for ages 3-6, 6-9 and 6-12, a Lab School for observation and practice with materials, and professional development services tailored for individual schools, school districts and workshops open to all.
