The Montessori Public Policy Initiative (MPPI), in collaboration with the American Montessori Society (AMS), Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), and Association Montessori International of the United States (AMI/USA), is pleased to announce the US National Montessori Curriculum. This resource will be the only comprehensive and detailed articulation of the US Montessori educational system from birth through age 6. Developed through a multi-year collaboration among Montessori educators, researchers, pedagogical leaders, and subject-matter experts, the curriculum provides a shared articulation of Montessori philosophy, principles, curriculum, and practices and supports greater clarity and understanding among educators, schools, policymakers, researchers, universities, and families. The first phase will be released in late 2026 as an open-access resource.
