Phyllis Povell

Phyllis Povell, PhD, is professor emerita at Long Island University in Brookville, NY. She is the author of Montessori Comes to America: The Leadership of Maria Montessori and Nancy McCormick Rambusch.

Sherry L. Schweighardt

Sherry L. Schweighardt, PhD, is a public health professional specializing in early childhood physical activity research and curriculum development and an adjunct professor at both the College of New Jersey, in Ewing Township, and Temple University, in Philadelphia, PA.
