St. Christopher’s Montessori School

The mission of Saint Christopher’s Montessori School is to create an engaging preschool environment that is devoted to each child’s social, emotional, academic, and spiritual growth. We are a Christian school in the Episcopal tradition, committed to welcoming people of all faiths. We are devoted to cultivating each child’s self-confidence, self-discipline, and love of learning. As a Montessori school, we want children to grow in wonder, exploration, self-motivated learning, cooperation with others, and care for the vulnerable among us. Montessori education, and its emphasis on character development, is a natural fit for our Christian identity. As an Episcopal school, we offer creative worship rooted in the Anglican tradition, age-appropriate religious instruction that respects people of all faiths or no faith, and are committed to social justice, service to others, and embracing the gifts of a diverse community.
