Little Pines Montessori

At Little Pines Montessori, we believe the first three years are among the most extraordinary of a person’s life. In these years, a child learns to trust, to move, to speak, and to say, "I can do it myself." Our mission is to honor this time: to give every child a calm, loving Montessori beginning, and every family the peace of mind of knowing their child is truly known. Our Nido and Toddler Community are prepared with care for very small people, with room to move freely, simple and beautiful materials within reach, and adults who slow down, listen, and follow each child’s own rhythm. We are beginning in a home setting in Castle Pines, Colorado, with our first eight children, and we dream of growing into a larger school as our community grows. Wherever we are, our heart stays the same: a little village where children, families, and teachers grow together, one step at a time. Little Pines was founded by Andreia Kobori Stevens, a Montessori teacher and mother who wants every parent to walk out the door each morning with a calm heart.
