The AMS Circle of Friends

The AMS Circle of Friends is a giving community made up of donors that give a gift of at least $1,000 to the American Montessori Society in a single year.

When you give or pledge a minimum of $1,000 per AMS fiscal year (July 1 – June 30) to any combination of AMS funds, you are automatically welcomed into the Circle of Friends.

Why Join the Circle of Friends

Our work is funded, in part, by membership dues and registrations fees. But this is not enough. It takes a village to raise a child… and a circle of friends to help underwrite a movement that brings the benefits of Montessori to millions of children and their families across the globe.

As a way of expressing our deep-seated gratitude, upon receiving your donation of $1,000 in a fiscal year, we will recognize your generosity with:

• A Circle of Friends lapel pin 
• Acknowledgement in the AMS Annual Report
• Recognition on the AMS website
• Print copies of special AMS publications
• Opportunities to mingle with AMS leadership in exclusive virtual and in-person events

The Circle of Friends is made up of teachers. Heads of schools. Program directors. Civic leaders. Families. Montessori alumni and advocates. And anyone else with a passion for making the world a better place through Montessori. They have a deep-seated appreciation for the inroads AMS is making in advancing quality Montessori education.
