About the Teacher Education Program
UW-River Falls’ Montessori Teacher Education program offers busy working adults a blended, partially online and conveniently scheduled program; one full year of student teaching; a rigorous curriculum; a collaborative learning environment; and the benefit of completing requirements while working as a teacher. UW-River Falls meets a higher standard with its Montessori teacher training through accreditation by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) and affiliation with the American Montessori Society (AMS). UW-River Falls offers two training sites: one in River Falls, WI and one in Waukesha, WI.
