Professional development, networking, and a majestic, historic setting on Long Island’s “Gold Coast” await you at the AMS 2017 Summer Symposium. Enjoy featured presentations and ample time for networking and idea-sharing. Our featured speaker, Ryan Burke, will lead the group in activities centered on practicing critical conversations and managing group life in your school's work environment. You'll leave energized for the coming school year, and with an abundance of new ideas and plans for guiding your school and nurturing your staff.

Participation in the Symposium will earn you 14 hours of AMS continuing professional development.

The Glen Cove Mansion

Your registration to the Summer Symposium includes either a 3- or 4-night stay at the luxurious Glen Cove Mansion. Built in 1920 as a 55-acre family estate, “The Manor” (as the Glen Cove Mansion was originally known) was considered by Country Life magazine as one of the best 12 houses in America—and in more recent years has served as the setting for several popular movies. Current amenities include indoor/outdoor pools and a tennis center. There are also stunning views of the hotel’s lush gardens and the Long Island Sound.
