Meet the Commissioner

Saloni Mathur is president of the New Jersey Montessori Association Corporation, NJMAC and secretary of the board of the New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children (NJAEYC). She also serves on the AMS board of directors as Chair of their Regional Action Commission and on the MPPI New Jersey advocacy team. Saloni is a published author for Montessori Life magazine, National Association of Independent Schools, and the Journal of Montessori Research. She is a graduate of the AMS Emerging Leaders Fellowship Program, holds a B.S. in child and adolescent development from Union Institute and University, Ohio, and B.S. in life sciences from Delhi University, Delhi, India.
