APRIL 2, 2019—Every year, through a variety of awards, the American Montessori Society honors individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the Montessori Movement. The following recipients were announced during Community Night at The Montessori Event 2019, held in March in Washington, DC.

In Memoriam: John J. McDermott (1932 – 2018)
