In this webinar, the presenter will offer perspectives on how Montessori helps children normalize and achieve their human potential. He will draw from his own life, with warmth and his inimitable humor, to bring his insights to life. Biff will explain how his academic roots in psychology led him to a career in Montessori education, which he viewed as providing environments that offer “preventative therapy.” He will describe how his years of experience in the field have supported this vision, and why this is what he feels most passionate about in Montessori.

About the Presenter
Biff Maier, MEd, is director of faculty and curriculum development at Lexington Montessori School and co-director of the Montessori Elementary Teacher Training Collaborative, both in Lexington, MA. He is former chair of the Teachers Section of the AMS Board of Directors. AMS-credentialed (Early Childhood, Elementary I). AMI-credentialed (Elementary I–II).
