While every AMS member school operates independently of our organization, by joining, it becomes a part of the larger Montessori community and can take advantage of the services we offer. About the School
Jubilee Academy is a small Christian Montessori school, accredited by the SC Independent School Association, licensed by the Department of Social Services to allow for Infants and Toddlers and a participant in the ABC Quality program of DSS of SC. Our core mission is to families of generational poverty with children from Infancy through Fifth grade. Our children are able to crossover into the Public Montessori Middle School program, housed within a block of us. Those who have chosen to do that, have been allowed to choose to attend any high school across the district!
Jubilee is attracting families who are not in poverty and we are adding more diversity to our program, with pleasure.
We currently have 18 children and have operated steadily through the COVID-19 pandemic. We operate an extended day program with 8 weeks during the summer, to meet the needs of our precious families. Many of our parents come without exposure or understanding of Montessori, which gives our Parent Program the opportunity to expand the knowledge and education of complete families! Our hope is to serve 40-50 children and their families, now that we have the space in a church property we have inherited.
