THE DR. MARLENE BARRON INNOVATION FUND
The purpose of the Dr. Marlene Barron Innovation Fund is to honor the legacy of long-time AMS member and ardent supporter, Dr. Marlene Barron. Monies raised through this fund will support the new AMS Innovation Fellowship Think Tank and Labposium program and events as well as other new initiatives designed to move Montessori education forward in new and exciting ways.

The American Montessori Society Living Legacy is an annual tribute to an individual whose dedication and leadership has made a lasting impact on the AMS community. Donations in honor of the AMS Living Legacy support the awarding of scholarships to aspiring Montessori educators at AMS-affiliated teacher education programs.
LEARN MOREAMS PEACE & SOCIAL JUSTICE FUND
Donations to this fund support the work of our Peace & Social Justice Committee in advancing principles of freedom, dignity, safety, and equitable treatment for all—for example, through Peace Seed Grants, which fund projects that promote peace education.

Circle of Friends
The Circle of Friends is a giving community of individuals, schools, or programs that have made a financial commitment to support AMS by giving a cumulative total of at least $1,000 to one (or more) of the funds listed below in a single year. Learn more.
The 1870 Society
The 1870 Society supports AMS’s long-term growth and stability through gifts of estate planning and direct donations.1870 Society members make a non-binding bequest to the American Montessori Society for a percentage of their estate once the estate is settled. Learn more.
