Virgin Islands Montessori School and Peter Gruber International Academy is located on the beautiful island of St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands. VIMSIA was established in 1964 and we offer programs for Toddler through High School. Our Toddler through Upper Elementary classes are Montessori, while our 7th grade to 12th grade programs are International Baccalaureate. In our Montessori program, we have two Toddler classes, four Primary classes, 2 Lower Elementary and 2 Upper Elementary classes. Our classrooms are well equipped; our children are exceptional; our 12 acre campus is tropically lush fostering outdoor activity and emphasizing environmental sustainability. Our students, staff and parents join to create a loving and caring community that is diverse and unique in many ways. Our island, and school, hosts a truly global community.
