About the School
Gateway Montessori was established in 1970, the centennial year of Maria Montessori’s birth. Realizing the value of Dr. Montessori’s insights, a group of parents met and studied the Montessori Method. Gateway Montessori is a non-profit, non-denominational education corporation chartered and licensed under the laws of the state of Michigan.
