About AMS Member Schools

While every AMS member school operates independently of our organization, by joining, it becomes a part of the larger Montessori community and can take advantage of the services we offer. Each member school is unique and will vary, from program levels served to curricular and extracurricular offerings, and more. We encourage you to visit and see for yourself.

Discover AMS member schools in your area, and research their offerings to find the ones that are the best fit for your family.

A green pin next to a school’s name means it is AMS-accredited—the highest level of school recognition bestowed by the Montessori community. A purple pin means it is on the AMS Pathway of Continuous School Improvement, an initiative that supports ongoing commitment to standards of excellence. Each of these schools has a Pathway seal on  its detailed information page. Accreditation, the highest level on the Pathway, is Step 10.
