About The Montessori Event

With each passing year, new schools open in both the private and public sectors, more and more states recognize the efficacy of our pedagogy, and Montessori philosophy continues to proliferate in countries around the world. As our movement swells, so does our annual gathering. AMS is committed to bringing our unique tribe together each year for days filled with exploration, discovery, discussions, research, and enthusiasm. Come meet friends old and new to celebrate our successes, identify and confront our challenges, and plan for opportunities that lie ahead—in our schools, in our growing Montessori communities, and out in the larger world.

Call for Proposals

Research Posters:
The Call for Proposals for our Research Poster Session is now closed. Notification of acceptance will be sent in November 2018.

The Call for Workshop Proposals for The Montessori Event 2019 is now closed. Authors who have submitted a proposal should have been notified of their status by July 31.

Exhibit Hall

Applications are now being accepted for potential exhibitors at The Montessori Event—your best opportunity to make human connections with a passionate, joyful niche audience. The prospectus and application may be downloaded here. Booths for newly accepted exhibitors are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. We urge you to submit your application as soon as possible, as the Exhibit Hall always sells out early.

New this year is a special section for non-profits who would like to connect with the Montessori community. These tables in the Exhibit Hall are available at a much-reduced rate, and you will find the details in the prospectus.

After you download and review the prospectus, please direct any questions to George Markham, Exhibits Manager, or 212-358-1250.
