November 11, 2013—We at AMS express our profound sadness over the news of Typhoon Haiyan and join the rest of our community in extending our condolences and prayers to all those affected by this devastating tragedy.

Typhoon Haiyan struck the eastern seaboard of the Philippines on Friday and is being called one of the deadliest natural disasters ever recorded.

Below is a short list of some of the many organizations that will be helping with relief and rescue efforts, which we have provided as a reference point for those who are considering making a donation. Please note that the list does not reflect any particular advocacy on the part of AMS.
