AMS School Administrators Retreat

Now Onyx

The AMS School Administrators Retreat is the annual gathering of Montessori heads of schools, program directors, and aspiring leaders over the Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. Every January, these hardworking individuals join together in a welcoming and relaxing location to learn from the expertise of a guest facilitator and to network with their peers.

Retreat-goers also “recharge their batteries,” taking inspiration from the company, the collaboration, and the allure of a beautiful locale.

Featuring David Mead: "Start With Why"

Learn how, by finding your purpose or cause—your "Why"—you can lead an inspired and fulfilled life, and create a culture in which those who work with you can do the same.

This retreat topic is based on the work of Simon Sinek, leadership expert and author of Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action and (most recently) Leaders Eat Last: Why Some Teams Pull Together and Others Don’t.

David Mead is a trained Start With Why facilitator who creates resources and tools based on Simon's content, and shares the message of "Why" and how to put it into action through speaking, workshops, coaching, and consulting.
