The Archives Committee is the steward of the AMS Archives, a collection of writings, films, photos, and other materials documenting the Society’s activities from its earliest days. The collection is housed at the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, and is open to the public.
Established in 1994 in honor of AMS founder Dr. Nancy McCormick Rambusch, the committee’s primary purpose is to collect, oversee, and assist in the identification of materials donated to the collection.
In addition, committee members assist in selecting the speaker for the Dr. Nancy McCormick Rambusch Lecture, a highlight of the AMS Annual Conference.
If you are interested in joining the committee, please contact Marie M. Dugan, committee chair.
