Networking: Teacher Educators
Friday, March 28 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Presenter: Mary Schneider, MS
Faculty and directors of Montessori teacher preparation programs are invited to gather to spend some time thinking and talking about the personal and professional characteristics we hope to develop in the graduates of our TEPs at each course level. We’ll consider the pathways to leadership for our master teachers, as well as ways to support the ongoing evolution and development of our graduates after they leave our programs.
Discussion topics will include:
- What are the personal and professional qualities we hope to see in the graduates of our TEPs at each level? How do we measure them?
- What do we hope to see after 3 years of practice? Five years of practice?
- What is the pathway to leadership for our competent and master teachers?
- A continuation of the conversation about Dr. Rob Evan’s keynote presentation at the TES Annual Meeting.
