Overview

In today’s ever-changing world, it is not enough to offer an educational program that gives students the tools for a new age without also thinking about the tools that parents will need A dynamic parent-education program can be a key factor in an engaged parent community and a successful partnership between school and home. It can also lead to better understanding of a school’s educational philosophy and increased retention and philanthropic support.

However, all too often schools neglect to think about how to ensure that its parent-education program is as robust as the educational program offered to its students. Come learn how one school took a good hard look at what today’s parents need and redesigned its parent-education program to engage and educate its community-—resulting in parent participation that has never been higher.
