This workshop will move you beyond 3-part cards and zoology puzzles, offering numerous ways to prepare a science-rich curriculum that spans all areas of the classroom, introduces children to the natural world, and promotes exploration, observation, and scientific inquiry. An exciting and effective scope and sequence will leave you with concrete ideas for making materials and lessons.

Kathy Farfsing

Kathy Farfsing, MEd, is an adjunct faculty member and director of the Montessori Dementia Program at Xavier Montessori Institute, in Cincinnati, OH. AMS-credentialed (Early Childhood).

Beth Tracy-Kaliski

Beth Tracy-Kaliski, MEd, is clinical faculty at Xavier Montessori Institute and an Early Childhood head teacher at Xavier University Montessori Lab School, both in Cincinnati, OH. She is a certified Orton-Gillingham instructor. AMS-credentialed (Early Childhood).
