Review the 5 essentials of literacy development in Montessori: preparing the environment for good communication; focusing on sounds; introducing letters; offering open-ended, process-oriented activities; and selecting and reading appealing books. This workshop will offer an in-depth discussion of each key ingredient as well as a useful format for presenting this information to your parent community.
