In this panel discussion, representatives from leading Montessori organizations will discuss public policies that affect both public and private Montessori schools in the United States. Topics will include federal and state initiatives that impact the quality and sustainability of Montessori as well as strategies that are working to address our biggest policy challenges. Sharon Damore

Sharon Damore, PhD, is an adjunct faculty member of educational leadership at DePaul University, in Chicago, IL, and a lecturer for Seton Montessori Institute, in Clarendon Hills, IL. A member of the AMS Board of Directors and chair emerita of the AMS Research Committee, she is a founding council member of the Montessori Public Policy Initiative. AMS-credentialed (Early Childhood).
