About the Presenter

John Chattin-McNichols

John Chattin-McNichols, PhD, is the AMS 2014 Living Legacy, a past president of the AMS Board of Directors, and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Montessori Life. A professor at Seattle University, he founded, and for 18 years directed, the Montessori Education Institute of the Pacific Northwest. AMI-credentialed (Elementary I–II).
