Outdoor Work for Very Young Children

Friday, March 23 2:00 PM - 3:15 PM

Presenters: Marisol Sharp, Christian Perez, Susana Ivanovich

Target Audience: Infant and Toddler

Outdoor environments are just as important as our classrooms, offering our youngest children opportunities that promote not only the development of sensorial and gross- and fine-motor skills but also skills that support resiliency, problem solving, and creativity. Join us for an exploration of safe and enjoyable outdoor activities such as gardening, painting, building, and appreciating nature—and come away with ideas for incorporating them into your Infant and Toddler communities.
