Call for Proposals: AMS 9th Annual Research Poster Session

June 6, 2016— Now through September 15, 2016, submissions are being sought for the 9th Annual Research Poster Session of the American Montessori Society. The session will take place during the AMS 2017 Annual Conference, March 9 – 12, in San Diego, California
Our goal is to give dynamic, informative posters high visibility during the conference. Thousands of Montessori educators and administrators will be present, making it an ideal venue to share education research.
Proposals will be reviewed for strengths in the following areas:
- Clear link to scholarly literature
- Focused, succinct research question(s)
- Connection to Montessori education
- Relevance to future directions in high-quality education
- Brief description of appropriate methodology
- Clear analysis of findings
A 1-day complimentary registration to the conference is offered to those researchers whose posters are accepted.
At the AMS 2016 Conference, researchers presented posters on a variety of topics related to Montessori education including creativity, recordkeeping, public schools, collaboration, and parent education. A complete list of posters and video highlights from previous conferences is available here.
